June - Rose Fennel

Summer Cooling Tea

Early summer calls for hydration and cooling support without weakening digestion.  Cooling, calming, and refreshing,  this rose fennel tea helps reduce summer heat while supporting digestion and emotional balance.

Tea Recipe

1 tsp rose petals
1 tsp fennel
½ tsp cardamom

2 cups hot water

Instructions - Steep 7 minutes before straining into your favorite mug. 

Benefits of the Herbs and Spices

  • Rose cools the body and soothes emotions. It is often used to support mood and reduce stress. 

  • Fennel supports digestion and reduces bloating while remaining gentle and cooling.

  • Cardamom helps balance digestion and adds a light, uplifting aroma.

Dosha Benefits

  • This tea strongly supports Pitta, helping reduce heat, irritability, and inflammation.

  • It is neutral for Kapha and does not increase heaviness.

  • It is safe for Vata, especially when not served too cold.
